The Dead Mauriacs(@thedeadmauriacs)はフランス人アーティスト、Olivier Prieurによるソロ・プロジェクトです。

過去にCalax RecordsからもLPをリリースして以降、彼とは定期的に連絡を取り合っています。Olivierはフランス北西部にあるル・アーブルという都市に暮らしており、フランス語の教師として働きながら、音楽活動やペインティング、自主出版など、幅広い活動を続けています。

下北沢にあるPianola Recordsさんの店舗スペースをお借りして、そんなOlivierの「密かな愉しみ」を飾る展示会を開催します。本展示会はOlivier個人がPianola Recordsに企画をオファーしたことから始まり、Calax Recordsの企画として実施するに至りました。企画を実現してくださったPianola Recordsの國友さん、この企画のために新たに準備してくれたOlivierに感謝申し上げます。

 

 

The Dead Mauriacs (@thedeadmauriacs) is a solo project by French artist Olivier Prieur.

LP releases have also been made in the past by Calax Records, and since then, there has been regular communication with him. Olivier resides in the city of Le Havre in northwestern France, where he works as a French language teacher while continuing a wide range of activities such as music, painting, and self-publishing.

This exhibition introduces Olivier's "quiet pleasures." It began when Olivier personally offered a proposal to Pianola Records, leading to its implementation as a project under Calax Records. We express our gratitude to Kunitomo-san from Pianola Records for making this project a reality, and to Olivier for his new preparations for this project.
